Center for Bioengineering & Computational Biology

Funding:

Union College's Center for Bioengineering and Computational Biology has been generously funded through a $1.6 million dollar grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute beginning in 2004. Previous funding for development of the curriculum in Bioengineering at Union was provided by an Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Grant "Using Technology to Facilitate Interdisciplinary Teaching & Learning".

Union College supports the Center through its Converging Technologies initiative that coordinates and funds programs that integrate engineering with the liberal arts.
